Acid house was never just a gimmick. It was never just a 303, a beat, a sound, or a trend to be copied.
Music can reach places inside you that words simply can’t.
It can pull you out of a dark place.
Bring back someone you thought you’d forgotten.
Make you remember exactly who you were.
Turn loneliness into connection.
Turn sadness into release.
And for one brief moment, make everything else disappear.
This mix was months in making all done with vinyl and then re edited @ Kronk Studios.
Enjoy!
CiDiC is a collision of late-’80s industrial acid, breakbeat pressure and underground machine culture. Built around warped 303 acid lines, distorted drum machines, brutal percussion and hypnotic analogue textures, CiDiC channels the raw energy of a time when electronic music felt experimental, physical and slightly dangerous.
