Welcoming Anglea Colosi to the FREQS line-up with this superb set recorded live at French’s
Angela was born in Hastings and St Leonards-on-sea and first fell in love with music when her Father would play the likes of Sergio Mendes and Burt Bacharach (she still has the records)! She discovered soul music whilst listening to a young Pete Tong on Invicta Radio and started clubbing at the dawn of the Disco era in the late ‘70s. Angela attended the early Soul Weekenders and fell in love with jazz, funk and soul during the early ‘80s. She also discovered Ibiza and Balearic Beats in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s along with her passion for all genres of House Music. Angela has made appearances at the ‘Tenerife Funk, Soul, House Fiesta’ ‘Vocal Booth Weekender (Alicante)’, ‘Let’s Get it Together’, ‘Hidden Beach’ and ‘The Bournemouth Soul and House Weekender’ festivals. Angela also has a monthly radio show on Vocal Booth Radio station and has recently appeared for FREQS Radio at Frenchies. Angela has an eclectic and varied style ranging from jazz, disco and soul to deep house.
Thank you FREQS for letting me join this community. I’m as passionate about music as I am about my hometown so it’s a good combination. I really enjoyed going a bit deeper with this set 🙂 Hope you enjoy it!
