Here’s the third instalment of ROAMing fast and slow, the second slow one, beginning with the opulent pop of Oklou, into hip-hop, then burrowing into lugubrious breakbeat and eventually slow techno and back out into the lambency of Kalani’s Lumin, concluding with a playful Uwe Schmidt and Jamie Liddell. I’m really enjoying the creativity that is emerging on FREQs, inspired by Continental Drift and Tullis Rennie to experiment, and by Andy Daa to mix louder, to name a few.
